I have spent a lot of time of late reading through the prophets…
What started out as something that I thought would be hard work has turned into something that I have deeply cherished. There is a deep beauty throughout these books, and I am seeing so clearly the heart that God has to restore our broken relationship… There is such power in his desire to redeem us, and to give us he opportunity to make right the distance that we have put between us and him. The constant picture of God passionately pursuing us, his creation, is utterly humbling to me.
I pray that I am worthy of his pursuit…
