Bouncing all over the place the other day, I came across this and it has haunted me ever since.
The whole idea of detoxing has been a very powerful image in my mind these last few days. As I soaked on the concept, I have seen such truth in it… The fact that I took about six months to fully detox from my past church experience, all the while falling more deeply in love with Jesus than I have been before only confirms this idea in my mind. The idea of begining a church based off of this idea is just huge to me…
I am just trying to wrap my head around how this becomes fleshed out in a way that can be sustained for more than a generation or two…
Thoughts?
man, that article is a lot to chew on… I like what I’ve read so far though. I’m gonna have to get back to you on that one man. I’m probably gonna have to blog on this one myself as well, just to get my thoughts in order… Like I frequently say to you, where do you find this stuff?!?
When you and Jesus are as tight as he and I are, he will point your web browser towards this stuff…
I am not done blogging on this thing, I also think that I need to see how these guys operate.
