Who is this Eugene fella, anyhow?
So, I am three weeks away from my first trip to Eugene, Oregon…
I am excited, nervous, anxious, and impatient about the whole thing…
This is my “confirmation trip”, my chance to get a feel for the area, to follow up on the research I have been doing with random strangers that I have contacted through craigslist over the past few weeks. This is my chance to make sure that this is the next stop on my journey, to see if this is the next place that God is calling me to serve…
I am excited to meet the crowd that is going to be gathering together out there for the first time, and can not wait to get a feel of what our team is going to look like. I am also pretty excited to see what God has in store for us, and to see how and where he leads… I am also excited because this may be the end of my job hunt, and clarity for my future… or at least the immediate future.
To be honest, this post is more of a plea for prayer…
I am asking the two or three of you that read this regularly to pray for me, and with me, about this trip…
Pray for clarity, pray for wisdom, pray for discernment, but most of all pray for God to speak to me, and all the other crazies that are asking God to use us in a fresh move of the spirit in Eugene, Oregon…
