Catching up…

A lot has been going on lately, and I have not had enough time to update this, but that should be changing in the near future.

Right now we are in a bit of a holding pattern with my grandmother’s stuff… well, not exactly a holding pattern, things are being boxed up and prepared to be moved next month for the auction, but the next big thing is moving everything to auction (which is going to be very labor intensive… so if you want to help, I will buy lunch!).

April has begun, and I have a few car deals working right now, getting the month off to a quick start will bode well for the rest of the month.

I have been wrestling through some stuff over the last few days that has me really questioning what it is that I am called to do. It is not that I am questioning whether I am called to ministry or not, it is how am I called to serve? In what capacity? In which way was I created to serve, and how can I do that in a way that best honors my creator? Right now, I continue to pursue the idea that Eugene is where I am called to be serving…

So this weekend I am going away for a semi-vacation type thing. I am going to be headed to a hotel for saturday and sunday night, just as a chance to get some space from people, watch some tv in my underwear, and really start to brainstorm and seek the face of God as to what he is calling me to do…

I would ask that you would pray for me… that you would pray with me… and I will let you all know what I come up with on the other side of this whole adventure…

  1. “get some space from people, watch some tv in my underwear”

wouldn’t it be so much cooler if you watched TV in your underwear, without first having gotten that space from people? ;)

    ha ha

  2. I did that in college…

  3. Hi! I just came over to your site through Andrea’s World - she had a post about your blog. You mentioned Eugene in this post - would that be Eugene, Oregon? We have some friends that were planting a church there. They just moved to Arizona for a ministry position in a church there. My husband and I are in the process of trying to plant a church as well. It’s a tough road to travel. I can relate and I know my husband can relate to the questions you are asking yourself. I pray God speaks clearly to you and that you know what His will is for your life!

    God Bless!

  5. We are in Oklahoma. We went up to Oregon last year to visit our friends - what a beautiful part of the country that is!!!
