Sometimes a guy just needs to watch tv in his underwear…
Today I did something a little odd…
Needing a change of scenery, some rest, and some space I checked into a hotel in downtown Baltimore…
After a good meal, some quality tv time, and some time drinking in the Baltimore skyline I am getting excited about what tomorrow looks like…
Tomorrow I will be doing something I have not done for far too long…
I will be taking part in an exercise to do something I have affectionately called wallpapering.
Tomorrow I am going to be dreaming… covering the walls of my hotel room with giant post it notes covered with ideas, dreams, vision, strategy, and whatever else pops out of my head…
This is an odd Easter for me, but at the same time this is an oddly appropriate way to celebrate the emergence of Christ from the grave (oh-oh… I said the E word!) as I begin to celebrate my re-emergence into the world of ministry. My prayer for tomorrow is that I get a clear sense of the big questions that have been bouncing around my head of late…
