Some people say that I am a little unstable…
So there are those that say my life is a non-stop roller-coaster… up and down, this way and that way…
There is probably good reason for this, since I have been all over the place of late, as to where I am going and what I am doing. Recently I announced to the world that I was planning on planting a church with a team of people. This church was to be in Eugene, Oregon.
I was half right on that.
For a while, I have sensed that I was being called to take part in creating something new…
Something that worked to expand the Kingdom of God and its’ impact on the world around us…
I mentioned this past weekend that I felt like God was beginning to birth a vision for something new within me, and I believe that he is.
This morning I met with my friend Clayton, and informed him that I will not be joining the team that is planting a church in Eugene.
For quite a while I have felt a passion to see the church thrive in two different areas: North Jersey, and the Baltimore area. And so now I find myself praying through what the Lord will have me do, and where he will have me go. I feel that right now it would be inappropriate for me to plant in North Jersey, seeing that I left there less than a year ago, so I am currently looking to see how I can be used by God to plant a church in the Baltimore area. I have the beginnings of a vision, a dream list of people that I would love to see take part in this, and a whole lot of ideas about the where and the whats…
And so I ask for your prayers…
Pray that I have the wisdom, clarity, and discernment to know what God is saying, and how he is specifically leading me in this…
This will be an exciting ride…

woo hoo!
Hey Snoop!
What’s up with this?
Why don’t you just found a church where you are right now. No need to move around. Your sheep will flok wherever you are.
Just get on with it. Get to action. Thinking alone won’t get anybody into your pews.
If you are a real preacher, start out at the local street corner. Who needs a church anyways. God has already build the brightest roof over us.
Another thought for you. Found an on-line church. Podcast your speaches, initiate an interactive website where poeple can attent your mass. I am sure this would take off quickly.

Actually, that is what I am doing… planting where I am at… I am not sure about the on-line deal, but I might have to think about it…
How’s your month?
sitting at 12 right now and not a lot going on. How about yours?
H.P.K.
sitting at 2, i need a slump buster… the sad thing is that I am still fourth on our board (out of 12)… this has been a BAD month so far for all of us here
[...] Apparently I have not done a good enough job communicating to people that I am not going to be moving to Oregon… if you are interested, there is more info on that decision here. [...]
