Follow who?
Lately I have been haunted by something I read somewhere (I know that is helpful). It has been bouncing around my head for a few weeks now, and to be honest it is quite intimidating…

For the record…
If you ever find yourself in need of a hair cut, and you are in the vicinity of the Hair Cuttery at the Harford Mall, in Bel-Air, Md… you don’t need a hair cut bad enough to get it cut there.

Haul sixteen tons, what do you get…
This weekend we packed my grandmother’s antiques store. Two days work gave us two 26 foot u-haul trucks, a 16 foot trailer, two pick-up trucks, and a suburban full of stuff that is headed to auction. My friend Luke is my new hero for coming down to help us finish up today.

I am ready to head back to work, just so I can recuperate from this weekend…
For the record…

Thanks to Mom Loves Being at Home for this one

He and I spent some time talking about his experience, and what he has seen in his time here. He told me about 13 and 14 year old fifth graders that are in school because they are forced to be. He told me about parent-teacher nights that only see three people showing up, two of which were grandparents. He told me about a PTA that consists of five people.
