Remembering Jerry…

I have been trying to decide what to, or even if I should post something on the passing of Jerry Falwell. I don’t know that I could post something that would even come close to what James Watkins posted on Think Christian.
Read this, and tell me what you think…

He said it well indeed. I had been thinking along the lines of equating his life and death to that of a friend of mine, someone of his generation, who I totally disagree with on many levels, yet know he loves Jesus and sincerely desires to glorify God.
We all will make fools of ourselves now and again. Most of us, however, are lucky, not to be in the spotlight when those times come.
Joel, I am not sure what you did to tick off Askimet, but your last few comments have needed to have been rescued from my spam filter.
Please make peace with askimet… I like what you have to say.
Askimet and I had a falling out some years back.

well said… thanks for linking to that… I think he speaks for a bunch of us in a different generation… the embarrassing grandfather, may he RIP.
