It has been a while since I have posted here. There are a few reasons for that, but the major one is that I have been wrestling through some pretty huge decisions.
After a year off from working in the church, having spent eight years working with students, I have come to the realization that it is time for me to move on from student ministry. I have wrestled with this decision for a while, but it came to a head when I found the church that I would love to serve at, were I to continue working with students. Today I had to tell the senior pastor of this church, a man that I have come to greatly appreciate and respect, that I feel like I need to pursue other callings.
Those closest to me are most likely muttering under their breath right now, glad that I have finally figured it out, but I am finally owning up to the fact that God is calling me to pursue planting a church in the Baltimore area.
