Why CBS is not my favorite…
I am not sure who it is that makes decisions on these things, but were I to find out, he would take firm control on my flaming bag of dog poo list. CBS in their complete and utter brilliance decided to show the Steelers and Browns in the Baltimore market today instead of the Redskins and Dolphins. Now I understand that there is a bit of a distance issue… I mean Washington is a whole 40 miles away from Baltimore, so I am sure that I am the only Redskins fan in the Baltimore market. I guess that Pittsburgh (288 miles from Baltimore) and Cleveland (374 miles from Baltimore) have more of a fan presence in the Baltimore market than the Redskins do. I mean, it can’t be that the Ravens are just finding another way to give Redskins fans the finger, can it?
When will the NFL start to treat Baltimore and Washington as a two team market, showing both teams games each week, similar to the New York market, or like Major League Baseball has done, showing the Nationals and the Orioles when they are playing… Instead I sit here thankful for Sirius radio, dreaming up ways to exact my revenge upon the person depriving me of my Redskins on this, the first day of the season.
The fact that the Skins won today has made the whole situation slightly more bearable.

Who are these “Redskins” of which you speak?
Cham!
Welcome back… The Redskins are my team!

Oh gosh. Tell me about it. I’ve been wanting to find someone else that is starting to hate CBS and their coverage (the lack thereof) as much as I am. ‘Course, I’m an Indy fan (living in Baltimore - yeah, it’s difficult sometimes), but c’mon…this week’s game between Indy and the Broncos, and they chose the Steelers and Arizona?! Or wait, maybe it was Seattle and San Fran. Which was even worse. I can’t remember, but ahh well.
Baltimore is not going to show a colts game… it just isnt going to happen… they hate the colts even more than they hate the skins.
