Sometimes you just need to say thank you…

Today, driving along 695 on the way back from the airport (I am flying back from New York Monday morning after delivering a truck, why New York you ask? Well, there is this girl on Long Island…) and encountered what is known in Atlanta speak as the Ubiquitous Ladder in the Roadway. Having survived this ordeal more or less intact, I thought it would be appropriate to say thank you to a handful of people:

Thank you to the guy who left the ladder in the middle of the Beltway. I just wish I could have been quick enough to get it and take it home before I ran over it.
Thank you to the guy in the FJ Cruiser for realizing at the last minute that he should NOT be driving on the shoulder heading right at us while we were changing our tire.
Thank you to the three seperate state police cruisers that passed us and did not seem to notice us.
And lastly, thank you to Keith, our lot guy, who actually helped make this into a pretty humourous experience.
