Sun, Sand, Fish, and Warm Weather
As I write this afternoon I am looking out over the Atlantic ocean, watching as the waves crash on the beach and the pelicans dive for lunch. The weather is beautiful, the fish have been biting, and life is good.
My family has come to Frisco, NC for Thanksgiving since I was in fifth grade, and it is good to be back here.
The last couple of months has been hectic. I have been selling a bunch of cars, and putting in a lot of hours at work. I have been doing a bunch of stuff to prepare for this crazy adventure that we are calling The Garden Community, I have also been spending a bunch of time with a charming young lady from Long Island, and watching our relationship blossom.
This being the traditional time of year for people to pause and be thankful, I realize that I have much to be thankful for. This has been quite a year, full of growth and healing for me, and a time of preparation for the next season that God has called me to, and I am most grateful for that. I have seen the move of God this year in my life in ways that awe me, and am excited about the possibilities that are ahead of me…
So, for now, I leave you with some pictures of me, a charming young lady from Long Island, some fish, and the Ocracoke lighthouse. Merry Thanksgiving, you guys…
